BEST BAGELS EVER!! They have a minimum of 3 bagel requirement, but for $12, you get to choose 3 bagels and a cream cheese schmear, not too bad! The bagels are a bit on the smaller side, but hefty! 'Everything Bagels': Nice crispy texture on the outside, and the inside was what sold it for me- it was so FLUFFY!! And I loved that they were hot and fresh! 'Scallion Schmear': I was even more impressed with this! It was creamy, savory, and you can taste the fresh scallion flavor! They also give you a really good amount of cream cheese in the container! When I think of a NYC bagel, I'll be thinking of Popup Bagels!

YES YES YES. this place finally made me understand what the hype was around NY bagels. showed up at 10 AM on a Saturday. there was a line but it moved very quickly. we only had to wait about 5-7 mins for our actual bagels after ordering and they came out PIPING HOT. we ate at thompson park (and walked by several groups of people also devouring their bagels) and it was so good. I got an everything bagel and split a salt bagel with my friend. we opted for a rosemary garlic butter which was the right decision. i could taste every distinct note of the butter and it worked so well on a savory bagel. bonus - you can use the leftovers for cooking! such a cute spot and the staff is very efficient. they seem to also enjoy working there with our cashier singing to music and having a great friendly vibe.

Worth the hype! For here around 9 on a Saturday. Yes there's a line out the door but also NY shops aren't huge so this is expected. They have a great process, someone is outside with bags, writing down your order on the bag. You hand the bag to the cashier and pay, and hands the bag to check crew. In and out in maybe 15 mins. The bagels were piping hot. The warm bagel dipped in the cold cream cheese 10/10 highly recommend. The salt bagel with scallion was my absolute fave. My son who loves everything sweet, loved the apple caramel, with chunks of apples!
